Late application is open January 29 till April 4. The regular application to Beginners is open February 17 till April 4. Applications are treated on a first-come-first-served basis during both application periods.
Welcome to Side by Side, an international music camp in Gothenburg, Sweden for young singers and musicians ca 6–23 years old who love to sing in a choir or play in an orchestra. The camp is divided into different choir and orchestra tracks that you can participate in depending on your interests and circumstances. Side by Side is organized by Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra and has around 2000 participants from around the world. The next camp is 14–18 June 2025.

Make your final booking
As of February 17, admission notices will be sent out for the camp. Remember to confirm your slot(s) in time by making your final booking. More info at Booking Info & Final booking.

Apply to Beginners
As of February 17, the application for the Beginners track for choir and orchestra is open. Admission is ongoing, so hurry! Please note that this track is in Swedish.

The late application is open
The late application to Side by Side is open from January 29. The application for each respective track closes when the track and the waiting list are full or by April 4 at the latest.

Download your repertoire
All repertoire is available in the sheet music archive, which you can access via your track page or the repertoire page. Start practicing the repertoire as soon as possible and bring the sheet music to camp.

Volunteer at Side by Side
Want to be a part of the magic? Work some volunteer shifts with us! Regular registration is open from 28 January to 25 April. Read more and sign up on the Swedish volunteer page. (Volunteer positions require Swedish & English language skills.)

Join Us This Summer!
All young singers and musicians ca 6–23 years old are welcome to apply to Side by Side. Start by looking at the track pyramid for a quick overview of our age groups and levels, then visit the different track pages below. There you will find more information about each the specific track and link to the application info/application.
The camp has seven orchestra tracks and five regular choir tracks. For participants who need special support in learning, we offer the function track OPEN CHOIR.

Adiemus, Scandinavium 2024
This year's camp had seven concerts. At the Festival Concert in Scandinavium over 2000 people participated. In this video, Adiemus from Songs of Sanctuary by Karl Jenkins is performed.
